Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in New Hampshire is the state's largest insurer, serving almost 500,000 members in the individual, group, and senior markets. Our plan has been the valued partner of large and small employers for nearly seven decades. We employ nearly 600 associates in New Hampshire and still make "face-to-face service" available at our Manchester campus and at employers' worksites.

Giving Back

The New Hampshire plan has a decades-long tradition of community outreach and support. In 2010, among sponsorships, charitable donations, foundation grants, and our annual associate giving campaign, we contributed over $600,000 to more than 200 non-profit agencies across the Granite State. Many of the agencies we support provide a vital "safety net" for New Hampshire residents and families who are underinsured or uninsured.

Agencies supported include: the Greater Manchester Family YMCA, NH Catholic Charities, Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, New Horizons for New Hampshire, the American Cancer Society, Families First of the Seacoast, the Salvation Army, New Hampshire Association for the Blind, the New Hampshire Foundation for Healthy Communities, Easter Seals, the American Heart Association, and Breathe New Hampshire.

Anthem associates--including our leadership team--donate thousands of hours of community service each year, serving as volunteer leaders on a wide range of nonprofit boards and committees. Among our community service projects is our annual community service day, a nationwide effort in which Anthem associates donate a day of their time in support of local agencies.
