Another victory for Honley's girls.

IT'S another victory for Honley High School's netball team.

Year 11 students stormed to victory against six other schools to win the Kirklees Netball Tournament this week. This follows success abroad when the school's Year 10 and 11 teams completed a successful tour in Cyprus, both coming first in a competition held at Dhekelia Army Base against a Cypriot international school and another British school . Honley High School PE teacher and trip organiser, Gemma Collett, said: "All the students were an asset to the school. They played some outstanding netball.

"A special mention goes to these students for their performance throughout the tour: Amy Foreman and Billie McGowan (100% Effort), Gini Dunne and Ellie Townend (Most Improved Player) and Ellie Folger, Libby Cuttell and Grace Boulton (Best Performance)."
