Another away day for homeless Coventry; cycle speedway.

COVENTRY travel to Wolverhampton today for a Midland League fixture against British champions Wednesfield, the most successful team in cycle speedway history, at Ashmore Park.

With their Hearsall Common headquarters yet to be finished, Coventry will be fulfilling their third successive away encounter.

The Devlins Newsagents-sponsored side welcome back star rider Ray Oliver, the 1998 world champion and also include Mark Giles Tim Metcalfe, both back from injury and heavy weight new signing Allan Brown.
