Annual Firepower Award honors defense contributors.

An estimated 550 people attended the 3rd Annual Firepower Awards Program held recently in Parsippany, N.J., by the Picatinny Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association. The awards are presented to those individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation's defense.

In addition. Col. John Merkwan, commander of the Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, presented Certificates of Appreciation to Nancy A. Campoli, Edward Colantoni, Molly Flanagan, Susan W. Johnston, Elaine P. Serao and Barbra L. Thomas, for their contributions to chapter programs.
