ONE was a woman who lived the glamorous Hollywood lifestyle to the limit.
The other was a mum of six brought up in Lockwood.
But there appear to be some extraordinary similarities between Elizabeth Taylor and Anne Popplewell.
So much so that the 47-year-old grandmother Anne is now hoping she could have a new career - as a Liz lookalike.
Anne has lost count of the number of times she has been told: "Gosh, you look just like Elizabeth Taylor".
Many of those followed photos of Anne appearing on her Facebo+ok page - but not everyone was complimentary.
"It seemed to attract a lot of what you might call Facebook trolls." said Anne.
"I took the pictures in my bathroom and posted them on Facebook, which I had been using for less than a year. But people seemed to think I was trying to cash in on Liz and called me all sorts of names. It was not very pleasant".
Anne was born in Ireland but moved to Huddersfield when she was nine, settling in Lockwood with her family. She went to Mount Pleasant Junior School and Moor End High School, before starting work in Huddersfield, including several years as a pharmacy assistant in Bradley.
She had four children who still live in Hudders-field and two more with her second husband, who now live with her in Tipperary, Ireland.
"We moved back to Ireland after my husband Steven fell in love with the place on holiday a few years ago. But I still visit Huddersfield and a lot of my family are there.
"The Taylor thing fascinates me. I didn't make any real effort to look like her but when everyone said there was a strong resemblance, i looked more into it.
"I'm thinking of having a full make-up and photo session to see what the results look like, and there's a possibility I could look for work as a Liz lookalike.
"People reckon there's a big demand for that".
