Ankara adds 4 new al-Qaeda-linked names to frozen assets list.

ySTANBUL (CyHAN)- The Cabinet updated a list of individuals whose assets have been frozen due to financial links with the terrorist group al-Qaeda, adding four new names to the list.

The Official Gazette announced that the Cabinet had decided to update its decree related to a United Nation Security Council (UNSC) resolution on freezing the assets of individuals, organizations and institutions affiliated with terrorist organizations. The update added Jordanian citizens Ashraf Muhammad Yusuf Uthman Abd al-Salam and Abd al-Malik Muhammad Yusuf Uthman Abd al-Salam; Qatari citizen Ibrahim Isa Hajji Muhammad al-Bakr; and Georgian citizen Tarkhan Tayumurazovich Batirashvili to the list of individuals linked with al-Qaeda.

The Cabinet decision went into effect on Friday.
