Anita Perrone.

Anita Perrone (photo), has been named a vice president and director of Corporate Services at The Corcoran Group, it has been announced by Barbara Corcoran, president of the prominent Manhattan-based real estate company specializing in the sale of luxury residences.

Perrone, who joined the firm in 1989 as a sales agent, will now be responsible for directing, overseeing and expanding The Corcoran Group's corporate referral and relocation business.

Corcoran noted that through Perrone's efforts her company more than doubled its corporate relocation business during the past year.

Perrone has also served as director of advertising for the company.

George Squire has joined the Los Angeles office of CPC Baker Harris, the tenant representative real estate consulting and brokerage firm, as an associate.

Me announcement was made by Nicholas Costa, president of CPC Baker Harris, who said that Squire would focus on new business development, including national accounts for the firm's West Coast office.

Prior to joining CPC Baker Harris, Squire served as a property investment consultant for Jacques-Gaston Murray, chairman of Nu-Swift pic, one of Europe's leading industrialists. In addition to spearheading the reinvestment of $350 million in fully leased office property in Central London, Squire was also involved in the refinancing of over 750,000 square-feet of commercial property in the United Kingdom.

Before his career in commercial real estate, Squire was a stockbroker and a registered representative of the London Stock Exchange, and has experience working with foreign exchanges and commodities.

Squire was graduated from Marlborough College in Wiltshire, England. He is fluent in French and Spanish, and has worked and traveled extensively throughout Europe and South America.

Scott H. Benson, president of Tarry-town-based Benson Commercial Realty, Inc., announced that Paul J. Pallet (photo), has joined the firm as managing director to launch a new Industrial and Land Division.

Pallett brings more than 14 years of experience with such firms as Summit Realty Corporation, Friedland Realty, and most recently as a partner in Pallett & Sayle Properties. He has successfully transacted in excess of $50 million in sales and leasing of industrial space throughout his career.

Pallett served in the United States Army as Sergeant in the Military Police and received an Honorable Discharge in 1969. He received a BA in Law Enforcement from the New York State University at Farmingdale.

Pallett's most recent transactions include the selling of both the Lillian Vernon Building in Port Chester and the Popular Lighting Building in Mount Vernon. Additionally, Pallett was responsible for the 97,000 square-foot lease/sale transaction in Port Chester with Golden Capitol Distributors, the sale of the Rohm & Haas property in Mamaroneck to Columbia Cable TV for $2.2 million, and he brokered the 33,000 square-foot build to suit building with Baker Properties for Airborne Express for $3.3 million at 393 Fairfield Park Drive in Elmsford.

Patricia Blaine (photo), of Manhattan has been appointed director of real estate for International Furniture Rentals (IFR) in the Park Avenue showroom, Edward Rosenfeld, president, announced.

In this position, her responsibilities include expanding and developing real estate-related business, including working with residential building developers.

Blaine has extensive real estate experience, working for developers as a rental agent, sales manager and listing agent. These include positions with Related Management Corp., Arun Bhatia, Rende Esposito, Gilbert Charles Beylen, Metropolitan Living and J.I. Sopher Village.

She previously worked in advertising as a producer of television commercials and holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from New York University.

Kenneth Richter, Esq. has joined the law firm of Lester, Schwab, Katz & Dwyer, as counsel. Richter, a former partner with Shea & Gould has most recently been associated with Kraus Enterprises, where he was General Counsel. He received his JD from New York University School of Law and his BA from Cornell University.

Richter will concentrate in the areas of real estate sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing, financing and debt restructure, as part of the firm's transactional law group.
