Anheuser-Busch announces more New Jersey distributor assignments.

Anheuser-Busch has announced further distributorship assignments in the Newark, New Jersey area. The new independent distributorships replace the company-owned distributorship that operated in Newark for 40 years.

High Grade Beverage, which has been associated with Anheuser-Busch since 1941, will take over portions of Union and Morris Counties that were formerly served by the the company-owned distributorship in Newark.

High Grade was named an Ambassador distributor in Anheuser-Busch's Dimensions of Excellence program, which recognizes wholesalers for excellence in their operation.

In turn, High Grade president Joseph DeMarco is selling Rutgers Distributors, Inc., in Staten Island, to a partnership of Ric Rose, Mark Rose, and Reinaldo Perez.

The Rose brothers operate Clare Rose, a family-owned beverage distributorship in Suffolk and Nassau Counties on Long Island. Clare Rose has been affiliated with Anheuser-Busch since 1947. Perez has been with Anheuser-Busch for 10 years, serving in many positions. He has been district manager of Westchester and the Bronx since 1991.
