Andrew Corporation (NASDAQ:ANDW) announced its membership in the WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) Forum(TM) (www.wimaxforum.com). WiMAX is an industry group of leading broadband wireless system vendors whose objective is to accelerate the marketplace introduction of wireless broadband equipment that adheres to the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.16 technical standard.

Andrew Corporation offers a range of solutions for broadband applications, such as wireless high-speed Internet, T1 (Trunk Level 1) replacement, and Wireless LANs (Local Area Networks).
