I've found the OK Corral shootout a fascinating subject and read everything I find relating to it. Ditto the Custer fight on the Little Bighorn. Can't get enough of either. An interesting sidebar would be: Who killed Johnny Ringo? The sixgun hanging from a watch chain sounds like Doc Holliday, but he and Wyatt were reportedly in Colorado at the time. And why were his boots off?
The lesson Mas draws regarding evidence preservation is a good one. If it had been done that day, where would the fascination be? Likewise, just one survivor from the Custer fight would end the mysteries. Yes, maybe it would all still be just as fascinating for those of us who live and breathe guns and shooting.
