TELECOMWORLDWIRE-May 10, 2012-Analog Devices unveils new multipoint LVDS transceivers(C)1994-2012 M2 COMMUNICATIONS http://www.m2.com
Semiconductor company Analog Devices Inc (ADI) introduced on Thursday a series of multipoint, low-voltage, differential signaling (M-LVDS) transceivers with the highest ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection of any multipoint LVDS transceivers.
According to the company, the ADN469xE M-LVDS series includes eight transceivers, each of which is capable of connecting 32 data/clock nodes using a single differential cable pair at data rates of 100Mb/s or 200Mb/s.
The new M-LVDS series delivers 8kV IEC ESD protection, which improves the reliability of insertable/removable boards and cards used in wireless base station and networking infrastructure, data acquisition, automated test equipment and other high-speed, highly networked backplane and cable applications.
The transceivers are available in half- and full-duplex versions and are fully compliant with the TIA/EIA-899 M-LVDS standard.
Price per 1k units is within USD1.05-USD1.15 range.
