An adventure in north Africa and southern Spain; EVENING TELEGRAPH READER HOLIDAYS.

THE TRESURES OF MOROCCO AND SOUTHERN SPAIN Seven nights departing November 12, 2006, and March 18 and 25, 2007.

Price from pounds 589.

THE sights and sounds of not just two countries, but two different continents. The familiar, and the not so familiar, this holiday has a real mixture of flavours and experiences.

The jumping-off place for your journey to Northern Africa will be the south coast of Spain, the Costa del Sol. Our base there is Rincon de la Victoria, a small town on the beach, just a few miles east of Malaga.

You will have one night there prior to your journey to Morocco, and two nights to mix relaxation and exploring when you return.

Fez - the most ancient of the imperial capitals, with the most famous souk and medina in Morocco, is a vibrant cornucopia of sights, sounds and narrow streets where an unimaginable range of spices, leather, silver and gold, foodstuffs, clothes and bric-a-brac is bought and sold.

Meknes - the cultural capital of Morocco is your base for three nights. Its size and riverside location makes it a more pleasant place to stay than in Fez.

Rabat - the capital of Morocco since independence lies on the coast just to the north of Casablanca and is an elegant, spacious city.

Included in the price:

Return flights from Coventry, Birmingham or East Midlands Airport.

Return transfers from airport to hotel.

Seven nights' half-board accommodation, three nights staying in Rincon de la Victoria in Spain, one night in Tangier and three nights in Meknes, Morocco, staying in good-quality hotels in a twin room with private faciltiies.

Excursion with restaurant lunch included - one to Meknes visiting Roman Volubilis and Moulay Idriss and the other to Fez with a stop in Ifrane.
