POSSIBLY the ultimate convenience or a total piss-take - the internet toilet. Brunel University design graduates have come up with the idea of turning the humble toilet roll into a hi-tech news service. A unit installed in front of a toilet could provide TV clips and up-to-the-minute information on shares and lottery results, which can then be printed on the loo roll. Combine it with one of those Homer Simpson booze hats and you might never see your other half again.
