Amusement park ticket for rich is just not funny.

NOW you can enjoy all the fun of an unfair system at Alton Towers if you happen to be rich enough.

The Staffordshire theme park has introduced a pounds 65 ticket that allows the privileged and wealthy to jump the queue for its popular rides.

This brand of elitism is entirely out of place in a business that has always prided itself on being family-friendly.

The X-Celerator ticket is blatantly discriminatory against poorer families who will be elbowed aside by rich toffs with money to burn.

If there is one place where everyone is equal, then it ought to be a theme park where all kids are entitled to exactly the same amount of fun.

Alton Towers call it a VIP ticket - which presumably stands for Very Insulting to Proles.
