Amprica of Italy is new strategic partner. (News & Installations).

Cargill Dow has announced that Amprica S.p.a. of Italy is a new strategic partner in servicing the European food packaging industry. The companies are working together to offer thermoformed packaging to the bakery and convenience food markets made from NatureWorks PLA -- a renewable resource-based plastic derived from maize.

Established in 1932, Amprica is continually working to offer functional and aesthetic packaging solutions that minimally impact the environment. Amprica has now made the choice of using NatureWorks PLA because it is claimed to be more sustainable than plastic materials.
