Amherst Holdings LLC, a leading financial services provider to institutional investors in the housing and structured finance sectors, will debut as a Programming Partner in the SXSW 2017 Interactive Festival, which is being held in Austin, Texas, from March 10-16, the company said.
As a Programming Partner, Amherst will be featuring "The Amherst Sessions," a series of three discussions about how high performance computing, big data and demographics are fundamentally reshaping the US housing ecosystem.
Amherst, an innovator and noted leader in the use of data, analytics and technology in evaluating the housing market, is at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of housing finance. Featured speakers include Danny Hillis, author, inventor and pioneer of parallel computing; and Julian Castro, former Mayor of San Antonio and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in the Obama Administration.
The sessions will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Bungalow in Austin's historic Rainey Street District.
