M2 EQUITYBITES-February 24, 2017-American Homes 4 Rent declares quarterly common stock cash dividend of USD0.05 per share


American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE:AMH) revealed on Thursday that its board of trustees approved a common stock cash dividend of USD0.05 per share for the first quarter of 2017.

The company's board also authorised a quarterly distribution of USD0.3125 on the company's participating 5.0% series A preferred shares, USD0.3125 on the 5.0% series B shares and USD0.34375 on the 5.5% series C shares.

In addition, the board approved a quarterly distribution of USD0.40625 and USD0.39688 per share on the company's 6.5% series D and 6.35% series E cumulative redeemable perpetual preferred shares.

All of the above distributions will be paid on 31 March 2017 to shareholders of record date as on 15 March 2017.

AMH is a provider of quality single-family homes for rent in the US. A real estate investment trust, it acquires, renovates, leases and operates single-family homes as rental properties. As of 31 December 2016, it owned 48,422 single-family properties in selected sub-markets in 22 states.
