American Home Assurance moves.

In a major Midtown leasing transaction negotiated by the Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc. (ESG) and Pinestart Realty, Inc., American Home Assurance Company has leased 45,800 square feet of office space at 1177 Avenue of the Americas.

The tenant, one of the nation's largest commercial property casualty underwriters, is relocating from nearby 1230 Avenue of the Americas. It will occupy the eighth and ninth floors of the building, located between 45th and 46th Streets.

ESG's Merrill Roth and Drew O'Malley, along with Pinestarr's Martin Horner, negotiated the 10year transaction on behalf of the tenant.
