American Eagle Group announces election of new director.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Feb. 10, 1995--American Eagle Group, Inc. announced today the election of James E. Maser as a Director of the Company. Mr. Maser is Vice Chairman of the Board of ClubCorp International, which owns and operates approximately 260 clubs, resorts, public fee golf courses and real estate developments worldwide. His affiliation with ClubCorp dates back to 1965. Mr. Maser has a JD degree from the University of Chicago and a MBA degree from Harvard University.

Mr. Maser fills the vacancy left by the resignation of Louis H. Erhard, an Executive Director of Nelson Hurst Overseas Holdings Limited. Mr. Erhard stated, "I regret that circumstances have led to this decision. However, Nelson Hurst has made a strategic decision to focus its resources internally, particularly in view of the time and expense required for regular trips to Dallas from London. It has been a very interesting and personally rewarding experience to be associated with American Eagle since 1988, and I look forward to continuing to support the Company and its strategy in any way I can. I continue to have complete confidence in the management team's ability to achieve the goals of American Eagle."
