19 June 2014 -- Maryland US-based mortgage REIT American Capital Agency Corp (NASDAQ: AGNC) said that its board of directors has declared a cash dividend of USD 0.65 per share for 2Q14.

The dividend is payable on July 28, 2014 to common shareholders of record as of June 30, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of June 26, 2014.

American Capital Agency also declared a cash dividend on its 8.000% series A Cumulative Redeemable preferred stock (NASDAQ: AGNCP) of USD 0.50 per share for 2Q14.

The dividend is payable on July 15, 2014 to preferred shareholders of record as of July 1, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of June 27, 2014.

In addition, AGNC's board of directors has declared a cash dividend on its 7.750% series B Cumulative Redeemable preferred stock underlying its outstanding depositary shares (NASDAQ: AGNCB), equivalent to USD 0.36059 per depositary share for the second quarter 2014.

Each depositary share represents a 1/1,000th interest in a share of the series B preferred stock. The dividend is payable on July 15, 2014 to depositary shareholders of record as of July 1, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of June 27, 2014.

American Capital Agency Corp. is a real estate investment trust that invests in agency pass-through securities and collateralised mortgage obligations for which the principal and interest payments are guaranteed by a US government agency or a US government-sponsored entity.
