American Airlines increase fares on flights in continental US due to oil prices.
American Airlines has filed fare increases of USD10 one way and USD20 roundtrip on fares in the continental United States.
The airline said the increase is an effort to recover some of the costs associated with recent large increases in the price of crude oil and jet fuel. Only travel in the continental United States is affected by these increases.
