American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air expand codeshare agreement.
American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air have expanded their marketing cooperation and codeshare relationship.
Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air flights operating between Los Angeles-Portland, Ore.; Los Angeles-Seattle; Seattle-Anchorage, Alaska; and Seattle-Spokane, Wash., will now carry the AA code, with additional markets being added in the coming weeks. By the end of May, approximately 450 flights flown by Alaska and Horizon will carry the AA code.
From 15 February, customers will be available to purchase seats under the Alaska code on American Airlines-operated flights between Los Angeles and the following points: Austin, Texas; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Newark, N.J.; New York's John F. Kennedy Airport; St. Louis; Washington's Dulles Airport; Honolulu, Kona, Lihue and Maui in Hawaii; and between Seattle and St. Louis.
Alaska Airlines' code will be placed on more than 1,000 flights operated by American Airlines and American Eagle.
