America West to resume negotiations with pilots.
America West Airlines is to resume negotiations with its pilots' union in early September 2003.
The federal National Mediation Board put the contract negotiations on hold indefinitely earlier this year after pilots rejected a tentative agreement which proposed an immediate 11% raise and a 14% increase over two years.
However, the two sides agreed earlier this week to resume talks, according to The Associated Press.
