Amendment to police service rules approved.

Chandigarh, April 28 -- The Haryana Cabinet on Tuesday gave its approval to the amendment to the Haryana Police Service Rules, 2002 with a view to prescribe the qualification for the post of DSP for Cyber Crime Cell.

As per the amendment, two newly created post of DSP for Cyber Crime Cell will be filled up through direct recruitment by the Haryana Public Service Commission by inviting applications of candidates who possess qualifications of BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science and Engineering with minimum 60 per cent marks from a recognised university and should have Hindi and Sanskrit up to matric standard, provided that in case the degree is awarded after adopting distance mode of education, it should have been approved by the Joint Committee of University Grants Commission-All India Council of Technical Education-Distance Education Council.
