TEHRAN (FNA)- The State of Palestine will become a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in 60 days, Palestine's permanent observer to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, told journalists.

Mansour announced the transfer to the UN Secretariat of documents on joining the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and a number of other international pacts, Itar-Tass reported.

He said Palestine is becoming the 123rd state member of the International Criminal Court. In line with the established procedure, it will happen in 60 days.

Admission to the ICC will allow Palestinians to bring accusations against Israeli officials responsible for military crimes.
