Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States to Address The Executives' Club of Chicago.

CHICAGO -- His Excellency, Sergey I. Kislyak, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States will address the members and guests of The Executives' Club of Chicago at a Leadership Breakfast in his honor. The Ambassador will speak on "U.S. and Russia: Prospects for Cooperation."

Ambassador Kislyak's career at the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation began in 1977. He was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2009 and holds a diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. From 1998 to 2003 he was Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Belgium, as well as a Permanent Representative of Russia to NATO in Brussels. His many previous appointments have included: Director of the Department of Security Affairs and Disarmament of the Foreign Ministry of Russia, and Director of the Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the Foreign Ministry of Russia.
