Amanda may have answer.

Just as satisfying as eating local produce is being able to report the launch of a business determined to get its own slice of the action.

A Spoonful Ltd makes its debut next month, with founder Amanda Wright targeting busy, working professionals and parents.

It's not their taste buds she's hoping to stimulate, but those of their children with her range of organic baby food that is additive and preservative free.

Amanda may have come up with a regional answer to a demand that is as local as it is national, but she'll know quality is everything.

Get that right and a spoonful will be nowhere near enough to go round.
