Amanda's parents in cash fight.

The parents of murdered Amanda Duffy are to set debt collectors on the man cleared of killing her.

Francis Auld was ordered to pay pounds 50,000 to Joe and Kate Duffy for the "loss to society" of their 19-year-old daughter. But Auld, who now lives in England, has not paid a penny.

Amanda's body was found in Hamilton in May, 1992. Auld stood trial for murder, but the case was found not proven. The Duffys sued him at the Court of Session and a judge rubber-stamped the claim.
