Abu Dhabi: Rizwan Amanat hit a quick-fire century to steer Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank to a resounding 43-run victory over Al Faraa in the Midcom-ADCC President's Cup tournament.

The one-drop batsman's 54-ball knock was highlighted by 16 fours and nine sixes, and helped the bankers post a challenging 245 for five at the ADCC grounds.

ADCB were given a flying start by openers Zeeshan Mustafa (43) and Rehman Gul (34 off 15 balls), who also took four for 35 from four overs. They added 62 for the first wicket in five overs before Amanat took charge to pile on the runs for his team.

Tahir Butt took four for 25 and ex-UAE international Awais Aftab stroked 40 to script Aby Dhabi Gymkhana's three-wicket win with eight balls to spare over Colombo Lions.
