AmBev reports Q3 beer sales up 4.4% in volume.

Companhia de Bebidas das Americas (AmBev), the Brazilian arm of the InBev NV group, has reported that beer sales rose by 4.4 percent in volume in the third quarter, while soft drink sales were up 6.8 percent. The company said beer sales grew by 10.7 percent in Latin America--excluding Brazil--and by 3.4 percent in Brazil alone. North American sales were up 1.2 percent.

In the first nine months, AmBev reported that the company's beer sales have risen by 8.3 percent.
