Palm has unveiled its newest product in the quest for mobile connectivity: the Palm i705 ( The 5.9 ounce device comes with 8MB of RAM (4MB of ROM)and runs on the Dragonball VZ 33 processor. Running on the Palm OS 4.1, the device promises secure wireless e-mail and Internet connection, and automatic notification of incoming e-mail by sound, flashing light, or vibration. Priced at $449, the i705 also features a monochrome display and a SecureDigital MultiMedia Card expansion slot.
