Alvarion Ltd (Nasdaq:ALVR), a provider of WiMAX and wireless broadband solutions, announced on Tuesday (23 December) that Linkem Spa, a wireless broadband service provider and WiMAX license holder in Italy, plans to deploy WiMAX across Italy using Alvarion's 4Motion solution for the 3.5GHz frequency band.
