Almost 11.5 billion cubic meters of water accumulated in Toktogul reservoir.

By August 4, 11,498 billion cubic meters of water was accumulated in Toktogul reservoir, Marat Mamytov, Chief of Fuel and Energy Complex Division, told AKIpress.By August 4, the water inflow totaled 940 cubic meters per second, the water discharge amounted to 454 cubic meters. Last year, the water inflow was 461 cubic meters per second, the water discharge was 391 cubic meters per second. Last year, the water reservoir had 9.285 billion cubic meters of water. This year, the increase by 2.213 billion cubic meters is reported.The Kyrgyz Ministry of Industry, Energy and Fuel Resources had a target to bring the water scope in the reservoir up to 11 billion cubic meters before October 1, 2009.
