Allstate Insurance (NYSE: ALL) and technology partner, IPsoft, have said that they are offering artificial intelligence in call centres.

The firm said that it is testing its artificial-intelligence software, Amelia, for customer service.

The software has been in testing phase since September and it is believed that it has been used in more than three million customer conversations.

Allstate SVP, Carla Zuniga, said, 'Amelia is quickly becoming an important component of our customer service strategy. She provides our call centre personnel with the information and procedures they need to address our customers' questions and concerns.'
