Allied Moulded Products Inc., an industry leader in nonmetallic electrical boxes and enclosures, is expanding its range of premium enclosure accessories with NEMA 4X ventilator kits for electrical enclosure applications.

The vent kits are intended to offer thermal cooling for instruments or electronics installed inside electrical enclosures, plus rain-tight protection for the air flow passages through the enclosure walls. They feature a strong and rigid design as they are moulded from polycarbonate thermoplastic material and maintain a NEMA 4X seal with the use of a Formed-In-Place polyurethane gasket system. They are suited to outdoor applications plus UL(R) listed for use on a flat surface of NEMA 4X enclosures. The mounting procedure is claimed to be relatively simple and the internal baffle system ensures zero water infiltration when exposed to rain in outdoor applications.

Robert Knecht, Marketing & Product manager, said, 'We are really excited about offering NEMA 4X vent kit accessories. This is a product that is needed for a multitude of applications in order to provide protection from water but also provide internal air flow cooling for the equipment housed inside.'
