Alliance Entertainment Corp. Creates New Group to Deliver Enhanced Services to the New Economy.

Expansion To Address Growing Needs of the Digital Media

and Internet Markets

Alliance Entertainment Corp. (&uot;Alliance&uot;), one of the nation's largest home entertainment product distribution, fulfillment and infrastructure companies, today announced the formation of the Media and Internet Services Group in order to more effectively deliver enhanced infrastructure services to the digital media and Internet markets.

Tom Szabo, formerly President and CEO of Digital On-Demand/RedDotNet, will become President of the new Media and Internet Services Group (&uot;MISG&uot;). Tim Sexton, previously Executive Vice President of Digital On-Demand, will serve as Chief Operating Officer of the group and President of Digital On-Demand. MISG will include the recently acquired Digital On-Demand/RedDotNet, Alliance's e-commerce enabling databases (All Media Guide), as well as future businesses, joint ventures, and acquisitions in the media and technology industries.

The company also announced the creation of the Distribution and Fulfillment Services Group (&uot;DFSG&uot;) with Alan Tuchman, formerly Senior Vice President/Sales &Purchasing of AEC One Stop Group, as President. DFSG will include the AEC One Stop Group, One Way Records, and the Innovative Distribution Network, unifying Alliance's vast distribution and fulfillment capabilities, including consumer direct fulfillment services, to create an enhanced customer focused organization. Peter Blei, formerly Executive Vice President, Operations, AEC One Stop Group, will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer of DFSG. Jerry Bassin, previously Executive Vice President, Corporate Development of AEC One Stop Group, becomes Vice Chairman of DFSG. In addition, David Schlang, President of One Way Records, has also been named Vice Chairman of the DFSG.

In response to Alliance's growth in both its core and new businesses, the company announced the expansion of its corporate management team. Larry Kalantari, most recently a partner of The Yucaipa Companies, has joined Alliance as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development. Kalantari brings 15 years of investment banking and mergers and acquisitions experience to the company. In addition, Darren Karst will serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of the company. He also joins from The Yucaipa Companies where, among other responsibilities, he served as Executive Vice President, Finance &Administration and also as Chief Financial Officer of Dominick's Supermarkets, Inc., a Chicago-based chain with revenues of $3 billion, which traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
