Wrestlemania takes over the Arena in Newcastle tonight. Showbusiness Reporter Gordon Barr has the details

World Wrestling Entertainment's Smackdown! roster brings some of the greatest superstars in sport back to the Arena, Newcastle, tonight.

The Wrestlemania Revenge Tour comes to Toon on one of only four dates in the country, and the event is a sell-out.

Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Sable, Rhyno and John Cena are just some of the famous faces appearing tonight.

Guerrero is standing firmly on top as WWE Champion after a thrilling victory over Brock Lesnar at No Way Out 2004. He has been around for a while, but never has the name "Eddie" been chanted with the fervour and intensity that it is every time he enters the arena on his trademark "low-rider".

Guerrero's career choice was a natural one, stemming from his upbringing in the renowned Guerrero family that produced many greats in the ring.

His exposure to different styles of wrestling allowed him to develop into a versatile competitor who could handle any type of match or opponent.

Guerrero can grapple on the mat, sail off the top rope, or simply brawl with the best.

His versatility allowed him to hold more than one title at a time, including several runs as WWE Tag Team Champion with nephew Chavo Guerrero.

Most importantly, Guerrero is as skilled with the microphone as he is in the ring and his charisma and style have brought him legions of fans.

He may lie, cheat, and steal - but whatever it is he does, Eddie Guerrero is as popular as they come.

A man once haunted by the demons of addiction, Guerrero proudly displays his new addiction - succeeding in the ring and the passion and drive that is known as Latino Heat.

NFor returns, ring the box office on 0870 707 8000.
