All offices in Lahore Civil Secretariat reopen.

Lahore -- All offices located in Lahore Civil Secretariat have been reopened following the end of strike by the bureaucracy against the arrest of DG LDA Ahad Cheema.

The bureaucracy strike against the arrest of Ahad Cheema has been ended on the advice of Chief Secretary (Rtd) Captain Zahid Saeed. Chief Secretary Punjab directed all officers to end the strike and work in accordance with the law. Following the end of strike all offices in Lahore Civil Secretariat have been reopened.

Chief Secretary Punjab said that the matter of arrest of Ahad Cheema will be resolved according to the law whereas in Civil Secretariat LDA and PRA officers on the matter of strike are divided in two groups.

It is recalled that the matter of arrest of former DG LDA Ahad Cheema had taken a serious turn and following it Lahore secretariat officers have stopped their work and a consultation was in progress amongst the bureaucracy of Punjab.
