A RADIO station which plays birdsong from an English garden assured its loyal band of listeners today that it was still twittering - despite the demise of a similarly named broadcaster.Birdsong Radio, which broadcasts the authentic sound of a Norfolk dawn chorus, wants devotees to know it has not been taken off air.
Listeners were sent into a flap when a digital station - Radio Birdsong - was removed from the schedules after 18 months. It has been replaced by Amazing Radio, which plays rock, urban and jazz tunes by new artists.
But amid publicity, reports wrongly named Birdsong Radio as the defunct station, leaving its devoted audience "devastated".
