All in the manifesto; FEEDBACK.
I DID so enjoy the recent letter by R A Vant (April 22) in which he makes the comment "Ukip has the comfy position of not having a record to criticise" (unquote) then treats us to a lengthy diatribe in which he does precisely that.
However, I shall accede to his obvious knowledge of who said what and where, especially where Ukip are concerned.
It must have been a very trying experience for him to bone up on the various comments made by Nigel Farage et al in regard to the NHS etc.
However, all kidding aside, I respectfully suggest to R A Vant if he wishes to know exactly what the truth is in regard to Ukip and its views on the NHS he should read the Ukip 2015 manifesto.
There he shall be able to pore over the most miniscule of points to his heart's content and thus sleep soundly in his bed having overcome the bogeyman that the United Kingdom Independence Party obviously represents to those who, although attacking Ukip for its stand on all things rotten in this country, conveniently forget it was their preferred parties of choice who have led us to where we are today.
By the way, Mr Vant, our country's ills are not the result of a worldwide chaotic banking system you spoke so eloquently of in your previous letter.
It was, and is, the inability of those in power in the UK to read the writing on the wall, and blatantly choose to ignore it.
That's the reason why we are in this mess, and no other. Happy Days!
