Italian carrier Alitalia has reportedly taken delivery of its first Embraer 170 aircraft.
The airline has placed an order for six Embraer 170 aircraft, and holds options for another six of the aircraft. It is planning to enter the 70-seat aircraft into service by mid-April through its regional company Alitalia Express.
The airline took delivery of the aircraft yesterday (10 March) in a ceremony held at the Brazilian manufacturer's main facilities in Sao Jose dos Campos.
