Alien Gear secures U.S. patent.

Alien Gear Holsters announces its award-winning Cloak Tuck 3.0 IWB holster has been awarded an official U.S. patent. As of April 5, 2016, patent # US 9,301,595 B2 protects the holster, which utilizes an original steel core insert within a multi-layered design.

"By having multiple layers, it may be possible to ensure a comfortable experience for the user while maintaining a professional appearance and holstering capability," the official U.S. patent reads.

Alien Gear's CEO Thomas Tedder, inventor of the Cloak Tuck holster, said he was "ecstatic" about the news of the new patent.

"We have innovated and the United States Patent and Trademark Office recognizes how unique it is. The Cloak Tuck 3.0 is truly revolutionary," Tedder said.

A number of other Alien Gear holster patents are still pending. They include the new Cloak Mod OWB holster, additional patents for the Cloak Tuck 3.0 and several products not yet released.
