The teaching aid, available on DVD, includes Alias Studio Personal Learning Edition computer-aided industrial design (CAID) software and step-by-step instruction on how to get started building models and creating realistic renderings in a combined 2D and 3D digital design workflow.
The Learning StudioTools/Beginner's Guide is now available for a nominal fee of US $19.99, plus shipping and handling, and can be ordered directly from the Alias/Wavefront online store at www.aliaswavefront.com/studiolearn.
"The Beginner's Guide is a perfect resource if you are new to 3D," says Danielle Lamothe, Learning Tools Product Manager, Alias/Wavefront. "If you've been worried about putting away your pencil and paper, this DVD will give you the self-paced help you need to confidently make the move to digital."
