Algorithms for Analysis, Interference, and Control of Boolean Networks
Akutsu addresses the computational complexity of algorithms and problems regarding Boolean networks and probabilistic Boolean networks, which are increasingly being used to model biological processes. He considers three fundamental problems: finding a steady state in a given network, inferring a network structure from sample data, and finding a control strategy to drive a network from a given initial state to a given target state.
