Alfa-Laval's New Company

Alfa-Laval Convenience Food Ltd has been formed by merging the UK interests of two overseas wholly owned Alfa-Laval subsidiaries.

Koppens Machinefabriek BV of Holland and Kramer and Grebe GmbH of Germany will in future be represented in the UK by Alfa-Laval Convenience Food Ltd of Interchange Park, Newport Pagnell. Koppens Food Machinery has ceased to trade and Bernard Skam, previously its managing director, has become managing director of the new company. Ulf Brasen, managing director of Alfa-Laval Engineering Ltd, is the chairman of this new company.

Additional offices and factory space have been acquired on a site adjoining the former Koppens Machinery location.
