Alfa Laval wins $12 million refinery order from Saudi Arabia.

Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling, has won a $11.74 million order for supply of its Packinox heat exchangers to a refinery in Saudi Arabia. The delivery is scheduled for 2012.

The Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers will be used in a catalytic reforming unit for production of gasoline. Last year half of Alfa Laval's big orders came from refineries and the vast majority of these included Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers.

"This order confirms the continuous demand from the refinery industry," stated Lars RenstrE[micro]m, president and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.

"And once again our Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers have proved their unique energy efficiency for demanding applications within the refinery and petrochemical industries."
