Alesio named to senior position at Dun & Bradstreet.

Steve Alesio has been named Senior Vice President at The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, with responsibility for Marketing, Technology, Communications and Strategy Implementation, effective today.

Alesio becomes a member of the D&B Leadership Team, reporting to Allan Z. Loren, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Alesio joins D&B after a 19-year career with American Express where he was most recently President and General Manager of the Business Services group and a member of the company's Planning & Policy Committee.

Alesio joined American Express in 1981 and progressed through marketing roles in commercial business units until 1989 when he was named Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Travel Business. In 1993, he became Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Small Business Services group. In 1996, Alesio was promoted to Division President, responsible for Small Business Services, Tax and Accounting Services and the Consumer Travel Network.

Alesio earned an undergraduate degree at Saint Francis College, Pennsylvania, and later received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton.
