Alesha falls on climb of Kilimanjaro; COMIC RELIEF.

Byline: By TOM BRYANT

ALESHA Dixon tumbled 10ft down Kilimanjaro - while answering the call of nature.

The singing babe slipped and rolled down a steep ledge after losing her footing on the Comic Relief climb.

A source said: "It was a particularly uneven incline and she fell quite a way and landed with a loud bump.

"She gingerly got up and shouted to everyone that she was OK but she was walking a bit sheepishly afterwards."

Denise Van Outen also tripped later in the day and snapped her climbing pole in half.

A source added: "It was a bit of a comedy of errors but it's a serious climb so these sorts of things happen."

The group walked for seven hours during the second day of the BT Red Nose Climb which is expected to last six more days.

They set up camp last night in a volcanic crater where they took in breathtaking views of the summit.
