Alberta A. Armitage, 87.

WARREN - Alberta A. (Croteau) Armitage, 87, of Brimfield Rd., died Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Harrington Memorial Hospital.

She leaves one son, Bradley Armitage of Warren; two daughters, Terry Flower of Manchester, NH and Margaret Willard and her husband Gary of Ware; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 62 years, Clifford H. Armitage; a son, Bruce Armitage and several brothers and sisters. She was born in Marlborough, NH daughter of the late Albert and Lena (Stoodley) Croteau and has lived in Warren since 1947.

Mrs. Armitage worked for 10 years as a inspector for the Quirk Wire Company in West Brookfield before retiring in 1988.

A Funeral Service for Alberta will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 12:30 PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. There are no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
