Alaskan Brewing Company.

Caption: Alaskan Brewing Company will re-release its seasonal Alaskan Winter Ale, brewed with Sitka spruce tips, in October. Brwed in the style of an English old ale, the beer also incorporates the fresh spring spruce. "There is a misconception that spruce tips are piney. Instead they offer a light, fresh aroma and flavor," said Lead Brewer Brent Kesey. "They lend the beer a subtle, sweet floral aroma that is balanced by the crispness of the noble hopes. Winter Ale is copper incolor with a full body, and the warming sensation of alcohol. This was designed as a winter beer, to be served with holday foods or just enjoyed b the fireplace with friends." Alaskan Winter Ale will beavailable through-out A, WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, Northern Nevada and northern California.
